Company & Sector Research

Our focus is primarily on actively traded companies in the GCC region that we feel are the most topical. We publish company reports that are either detailed notes or brief updates.

The detailed notes are for companies that are being covered either for the first time or have undergone a major shift in terms of factors such as regulatory environment, acquisition, growth, etc. The brief updates on the other hand are generally follow-ups on a regularly reviewed company and are direct in approach. This brief updates usually covers result updates, important corporate activities (such as Mergers& Acquisitions) etc. SICO's company/sector research reports are prepared after extensive interactions with respective company managements and industry experts.

GCC Market Watch

GCC Market Watch is a detailed daily product (10/11 pages) aimed at providing and interpreting the latest market related information to our clients pertaining to the six GCC equity markets.

The product starts with an exclusive market review section in which our team analyses the last trading session of all the six GCC markets and then gives its views on the day's performance. This product also includes a news section, where you will find corporate announcements, result updates and economic news covering all the listed companies of the GCC region. Covering page also includes critical statistics on GCC as a whole and each individual markets (market cap, volume, turnover, no of trades, P/E (hist & forward), P/BV and Dividend Yield). In addition to the regional indices, the report also provides a tab on the latest movements in the global indices, such as the DJIA, NASDAQ etc in addition to the MSCI Indices. We also include some key commodities (different grades of oil +gold) and currencies (JPY, EUR).
